Breathing exercises referenced:
“I am” breathing exercise. As you inhale and exhale use the mantra “I am” and attach it to your inhales and exhales for as many breaths as you’d like.
Inhale - think to yourself “I”
Exhale - think to yourself “am”
This is excellent for resetting and grounding oneself, and doesn’t encourage you to have to feel any certain way, you can just be present!
Timed breathing exercise. Counting your inhales and exhales, and exhaling for a few counts longer than your inhales.
Inhale - slowly count to 4
Exhale - slowly count to 6
Repeat for as long as is helpful to calm yourself
