Common signs and symptoms of burnout PDF available here.

Further reading and learning:

  • Breathing exercises referenced:

    • “I am” breathing exercise. As you inhale and exhale use the mantra “I am” and attach it to your inhales and exhales for as many breaths as you’d like.

      • Inhale - think to yourself “I”

      • Exhale - think to yourself “am”

      • This is excellent for resetting and grounding oneself, and doesn’t encourage you to have to feel any certain way, you can just be present!

    • Timed breathing exercise. Counting your inhales and exhales, and exhaling for a few counts longer than your inhales.

      • Inhale - slowly count to 4

      • Exhale - slowly count to 6

      • Repeat for as long as is helpful to calm yourself
